Calgarians Give Back in a Big Way over the Past Year

Philanthropic spirit takes many forms as 2016 Generosity of Spirit™ Award honourees announced

CALGARY, Tuesday, October 11, 2016 – Although thanksgiving has passed once again in this great city it is never to late to give thanks to a few local heroes. By giving their time, talent and treasures to the community, these everyday Calgarians are the embodiment of philanthropy. Calgary and Alberta as a whole is a resilient place. Across the history of this city, through ups and downs, we have seen Calgarians lend their support during times of need. This was just as evident over the past year in the diversity and accomplishments of the 2016 Generosity of Spirit™ Award honourees.
